Try this easy breakfast smoothie recipe with almond milk. It’s perfect for chaotic mornings; simple, healthy and dairy free!
My mornings can be crazy and trying to fit in a nutritious breakfast is virtually impossible. However, with just 4-5 ingredients that can be prepped ahead, this healthy breakfast smoothie recipe changes my whole morning.
Raspberries and mango are my favorite combination. Together they make a thick and creamy smoothie full of both tart and sweet flavors to wake up your taste buds. It’s packed with nutrition that your body will love and keeps you satiated for hours.
This smoothie is high in vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, calcium, collagen, protein, and iron.
THE SIMPLE INGREDIENTS LIST FOR RASPBERRY-MANGO BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE RECIPE:
Protein Powder
My preferred protein powder is Bone Broth Protein in either Vanilla or Chocolate flavor. Dr Kellyann offers a clean protein powder that is sweetened with monk fruit extract and filled with natural prebiotic fiber from chicory root. The collagen is concentrated, pure beef protein that is easily digestible. Buy your Bone Broth Protein Powder here.
Raspberries
Red raspberries offer tartness, beautiful color, lots of fiber and full of vitamins A and C. They are considered a cleanser for removing toxins in the body.
Mango
Mango is a smooth and creamy fruit that is full of natural sweetness. Just a couple of mango chunks pair nicely against the tart raspberries and offer a thicker and creamier shake. Mango has a high amount of vitamin A along with some phosphorus and calcium.
Spirulina
Spirulina powder is microscopic freshwater algae. It is a nutritionally complete food. It boasts high amounts of calcium, potassium, protein and iron. In fact, there is more iron contained in spirulina than in raw spinach! Buy your nutritious spirulina powder here.
Almond Milk
Plain unsweetened almond milk either homemade or store bought. If buying opt for the 30- calorie version. It can be confusing which one to purchase with so many choices available. It offers vitamin E, magnesium and more calcium than its dairy cow milk. But unlike cow’s milk there is no carbohydrates in unsweetened almond milk making this an excellent choice for those that do not do well with sugar in their diet.
