Are you looking for carob recipes to add to your collection? If so, I have created this carob smoothie (frosty) recipe just for you. It is thick, rich and creamy, reminiscent of a chocolate milkshake.
It makes a great pick me up during the heat of the afternoon sun. This cool and refreshing drink is easy to sit down and relax with.
I prefer using carob over chocolate because it is void of caffeine. This simply means no massive headaches or stimulating side effects that come with chocolate consumption.
However, if you prefer sticking with chocolate it can easily replace carob in this recipe using the same amount.
This recipe is quick and easy and I’m sure you will agree especially if you have been looking for caffeine free alternatives.
If you want to learn more about carob, read my post What is carob? If you are wondering where carob can be purchased you can typically find it in health food stores, online and in some grocery stores that have a health food section.
Monk fruit is another ingredient I use frequently that might seem foreign to you. To read more about this wonderful plant-based sweetener, check out my post The Best Sweetener for Keto.
If you want to add monk fruit to your pantry, here is a great source for pure monk fruit. It is the brand that I use in all of my recipes calling for monk fruit.

Recipe Notes
This is very filling and though one could drink the entire carob frosty alone, it is best when shared.
